On my way to Florida ! Tips anyone ?

After being swamped at work in recent weeks and seriously neglecting my blog as well it will be time take a plane overseas and spend some time with the family in Orlando, Florida !! Really looking forward to visit the US and already picked one or two baseball games to see in Tampa !

Of course, a visit to a LCS should be included as well so if any of you know some good LCS places in Orlando region do let me know as I need to still my hunger !

Anyways, really looking forward to a break !

Here come the Cubs !!

Looking at some of the Spring Training games and seeing some new talent coming through the Cubs look an exciting team this year and potentially for a few years to come ! For a few years now I have been collecting Rizzo cards and it seems he will continue to be a key parts of the Cubs going forward, despite all the new talent coming up. Here's Rizzo with some April Powers !! Let's hope he can display that this year as well !!

My first Ginter of 2013, Topher Style !!

I love Allen & Ginter and for me it's probably the most fun set in the year ! During my holiday A&G came out so I missed the fun. However, the next few days I will catch up with 2 Allen & Ginter Group break loots and my own few box breaks ! Plenty to trade so keep your eye on it in case you, like me, are trying to complete the Allen & Ginter set this year and/or you are looking for some specific relic cards !!

First-up is my loot from Topher's Group break at Crackin Wax !! I took the Cubs in hope for some Rizzo loot. I won't bore you with all the base cards or inserts and just stick to the relics and minis. All relics are for trade so let me know in case of any interest !

Two relics, a jersey and a bat, both for trades !

Next-up, another relic card, this time it's Castro. In addition, Topher added a bonus Bowman card, thanks !!

Next-up some of the inserts, both for trades as I now have several copies.

Lastly, Minis !! I love minis and will try to complete all mini variations so happy to trade anything you have !!

Rizzo Autos !!!

As most of you know by now, I collect several pitchers as well as Yankees. However, I do make exceptions sometimes. Anothony Rizzo is such an exception. Last summer I had the opportunity to attend a Cubs game while I was visiting Chicago. Against the Mets, Rizzo had a great debut for the Cubs and really got the crowd going in an otherwise fairly boring game. He had several hits and played a great game. Since then I have been following him a bit so when I noticed that Topps 2013 had several autos of Rizzo I thought it would be cool to own one.

And so it happened that a nice pakcage hit my doormat...oohh wait, 2 packages hit my doormat.....yes, in my quest to get an auto I bid one two different ones, clearly overestimating the popularity of mr Rizzo at the moment so I won them both ! Well, maybe this is the start of my first non-pitcher PC. Here they are !
