Group Break Loot !!

A few months ago I participated in one of Chris' Group Breaks at Nachos Grande. If I remember correctly the group break was for a few boxes of Finest as well as some boxes of Donruss. I got the Dodgers in the break and was allocated the Indians as well. Here's some of the loot !

First up a few Corey Seager cards, both from the Donruss boxes !! The Elite Series cards looks pretty cool and is numbered to 999.

Next up a cool insert card from Topps Finest, Franchise Finest ! I always like the look and feel of Topps Finest cards.

Another insert came my way, I USA Baseball card of KJ Harrison. It looks kinda cool !

I even was lucky enough to get one of the hits !! A Topps Finest Auto of Indian Kluber !!

Allen & Ginter box 3 !!

After the huge hit in the last Allen & Ginter box, i.e. the George Springer booklet, I am looking forward to box 3, my final box of this year's A&G ! This one will be a quick overview so not much comments, just sit back and enjoy the pictures !

Allen & Ginter box 2 !!

After breaking my first A&G box of 2015 today it's time for Box 2 !! The first box started as an average one with not much special. Let's see of box 2 is any better !

First-up, a few 10th Anniversary cards...I have made up my mind....I like the framed ones and really don't care about the unframed, simply stamped, cards to be honest.

The first "hit" of the box, a guy named Rovell ?!? don't have US TV so no clue who he is I am afraid. Utley was also present.

Now comes my best "hit" of the year !!! A George Springer Booklet !!! Looks amazing although a shame about the sticker auto...why does Topps do that....anyways even with the sticker it's an awesome card !!!

The box topper came from Russia !!

Let's move to the minis of the box and as you know: I love minis !!

To finish of box 2 let's have a look at a cool old house !!

All in all the booklet made this box a great one !! Be on the look-out for box 3 in the coming days !!

Allen & Ginter Box 1

It's that time of year again !! Every year I am looking most forward to Allen & Ginter and this year is no different. Therefore, as my ritual goes, we open three boxes of Ginter !! Here's box 1 !!

First-up, minis !!! I love minis and will be chasing the full mini set again this year (so keep the minis coming !!). The minis included several inserts including the First Ladies and a Healthy Body !

The box topper came from Italy, the Colosseum !!

The box also came with a few 10th Anniversary stamped cards, not sure yet what to think of them, feel like a waste of space in these boxes......at least they took the trouble of framing a few which makes them look nice.

The "hits" of the box were a few relic cards, Choo and Martinez !

Let's finish the box with two more cards. Another 10th Anniversary card and Kershaw !!!

All in all, an average box and on my way with the Ginter chase !! Be on the look-out for box 2 & 3 in the coming days !!

Diamond Kings Box Break

After the Stadium Club break a few days earlier it is time for Diamond Kings. I think Panini did a great job when I bought some packs during my Orlando visit and therefore it was hard for me not to add 2 small boxes of Diamond Kings to my A&G package !

Let's see what was in the boxes ! First up, minis !!! I love minis so I am chasing the mini set as well. Too bad the boxes only come with 2 minis so this is going to take some time ! At least I pulled a Rizzo !

The packs also come with framed variations that look pretty nice. Here's two !

Another blue bordered one numbered to 99 and a thick, very thick framed mini !

Inserts were also included, here's two HOF Sluggers !

That's it folks ! I continue to feel that Panini did a good job with this one. I have a bunch of extras in case anyone is trying to complete the set let me know, always happy to set up a trade !! I need some more myself as well !
