Got myself some more Coins !

It continues to intrigue me, the concept of a coin inside a baseball card. Not sure what the thinking is behind the concept, in particular given that these are not even old coins or anything but just a recent quarter of a dollar, or at least this one. Still, it's Blyleven and I like to chase Blyleven cards, including this one !!

What do you guys think, should Topps continue with the Coin cards or not ?

My best Sabathia card so far !!

I really like the 2011 Gypsy Queen set, a set I completely missed and still need to complete the base set of (I even still have to compile my Want List on this one). I recently came across a cool Sabathia card and to my surprise I even won it. So please meet my latest and favourite Sabathia card !!

Did I collect Verlander cards ?

Yes I actually did, or still do. However, my focus has been on Kerhsaw, Rizzo, Glavine and Blyleven for the most part hence I have neglected my Verlander collection in recent months. As a result I am very happy with my latest Verlander additions, bringing back some momentum in this collection !

First up a cool Bowman Platinum die cut card. Cool card if you ask me !!

Next up a nice 2008 Upper Deck Premier Patches. I was surprised how easy I won this one as it is numbered to only 17.

To Rip or not to Rip ?

Sadly enough, that question is not that relevant as my latest Rizzo addition has already been ripped. No, not by me, I just got it in the current state. Still, fun to own a rip card by Allen & Ginter and only 25 of these Rizzo's around. Have you guys ever owned a rip card before and did you rip it ?

Red Back Ginter Mini !!

For me, the best set of the year is Allen & Ginter and I always love the minis !! A few weeks back I found a red numbered mini of my favourite Cubs, Rizzo !! It arrived last week, here it is !!

I hope I can get my hands on one of Kershaw and Blyleven as well !! The chase continues .....
