A Buck Store Trade !!

A while back I was contacted by Douglas at BuckStoreCards as he had some cool cards from my Want List !! Whenever that happens I make sure a trade is quickly born !! The cards arrived a few days ago, have a look !!

First up, the best inserts of 2013, the Elite/Greats from Topps Flagship product !

Two golden Oldies, Seaver and Yogi Berra !!

More inserts !! A cool Allen & Ginter one and Cut to the Chase Mike Trout !

More cool cards, legendary (to be)pitchers !!

Lastly, minis !!!! I still need loads so these are very welcome !!

Back to the Glory Days !!

Today's its time for 2 great golden oldies cards !! First up is a great SP Legendary Cuts "Glory Days" card of Yogi Berra, the greatest catcher in Yankees history, winning 10 World Series. A beautiful card if you ask me ! According to Upper Deck (for what's it worth) the card includes a piece of pants worn by mr Berra during an official Yankees MLB game !

Next up is another great looking card, another SP Legendary Cuts card from 2005, Sparky Lyle. As a reliever he win several World Series and personally received a CY Young award as well.

I really like these cards and hope to get my hands on some more in the future !!

Pictures of Men Trade !

I recently visited a nice blog called "Pictures of Men" and noticed some cool cards (with pictures of men!) that were for trade. I contacted Dennis and a cool trade was quickly born. Here's what Dennis send me !

First-up, a great Yogi Berra relic card from the 2009 Goodwin Champions set, really a cool card and a great addition to me Yankees collection !

Next-up another Yankees card, a Graham Stoneburner autographed Bowman Chrome card. I think its a cool name but to be honest, I had to look up the guy. Apparently, he was the 14th round draft of the 2009 MLB June Amateur draft. He could very well make a bit of a name for himself in the 2012 season so I will be on the lookout for him !

Dennis also send me a cool addition to my Lincecum collection, a 2010 Heritage Chrome numbered card !

Furthermore, Dennis send me some extra cards !! Two of my favourite Yankees pitchers !! Rivera and Sabathia, from the 2012 Bowman set. I didn't own any of the Bowman cards yet so this was much appreciated !!

Trading Gypsys with the Dimwit !

Two weeks ago, Sam at the Daily Dimwit posted a 2012 Gypsy Queen box break which included a nice Rivera relic. As I was still missing that one I contacted Sam and we quickly set up a great trade. I send Sam 20 or so Gypsy Queen minis including a bunch of SPs and a blue framed Freese as well as a pile of Astros from a recent box break I participated in. In return I received the following great cards this weekend !

Firstly, a cool blue-framed Yogi Berra (#/599). I really like these blue-frames parallel cards in the Gypsy Queen set and am planning to chase all the Yankees of this one (as well as Verlander, Kershaw and Lincecum of course).

Sam also send me some Yankee minis ! Nick Swisher (who is on a roll this season so far) and Granderson.

The card that initiated the trade: the Mariano Rivera Relic card !

Lastly, Sam also added the Rivera mini photo variation SP !! Much Appreciated !!

Trade with the Sandlot !

The best start to a Sunday is opening some envelops and see what's inside ! A while back, Joe at the Sandlot contacted me for several of my Piazza relic cards I pulled in a few box breaks I participated in. After only a few e-mails we had a nice trade going on. Yesterday, a great package dropped in my mailbox !

The first card Joe send me was a great looking Relic card of Tom Glavine while he was at the Mets

Next up are several Triple Threads cards including Verlander (#/1350) and two Yankees, Yogi Berra (#/1350) and a gold Willie Randolph (#/99).

Furthermore, Joe send me a 2006 Bowman Heritage game-used Bat card of Gary Sheffield in a Pinestripes.

To finish it off, Joe send me a selection of Yankees from the 2005 Upper Deck Classics set. Take a look !

All in all, a great trade so thanks very much Joe !! The next envelop with Piazza I just send your way today so hopefully that one is arriving soon as well !
