New COMC package !

Although my blog activity has been slow my focus on collecting Glavine and Blyleven has continued, close to, full force, mostly using my COMC account as my US mailbox. As a result, a cool COMC package arrived at my doorstep last week. Here are some impressions !

First up, some Allen & Ginter silk ! Already a few years old but this one was still missing from my collection so very happy to have been able to get my hand on this one as there are only 10 around !!

Next -up, some special proof cards from the Leaf Pearl set from 2018. Haven't seen anything from this set but came across these production proof cards so took a shot at them !

Luckily, I was also able to expand my Flying Dutchman collection. Here are two new Blyleven card. One from Topps Five Star and one from Topps Legacy of Baseball.

Let's end of today's post with a cool White Whale of Glavine !!

Overall, very cool cards and great additions to my collection. Still, miss a bit the thrill of opening Allen & Ginter or Gypsy Queen packs so I might need to revisit that old habit at some point !

Something Leaf

Quick post today with my first Winfield Auto from the Leaf set "Sports Heroes". Luckiloy it was a cheap one as the auto is not great looking to be honest. At the same time, the used bat compensates a bit for that !

Anyone of you looked at the new Leaf sets recently ?

Where's Richard Nebe & Leaf is back !

Quick post today. I have been busy making some packages and the first batch of contest prizes should go out the door tomorrow !! I also found myself a new Glavine !!! Leaf Sports Heroes ! Didn't know Leaf was back but there you go !!

By the way, anyone that can send me the e-mail of Richard Nebe JR so I can contact him for his address and send him a small pakcage ?

New Sabathia additions !

My Sabathia collection has been moved a bit to the background in recent months with my focus being on Kerhsaw and Rizzo as well as Glavine (of course!) and Blyleven. However, last week I was able to pick up two cool new additions. Here's a cool, silk, Allen & Ginter card, numbered to only 10 !!

Also, a 2005 Leaf relic card, Patch off my Back, Sabathia as an Indian !

Leaf Inscriptions: Legends of Sport

I recently noticed that another Blyleven card was included in a 2012, Leaf Inscriptions, Legends of Sport. As I am trying to collect a version of each Blyleven card the chase began ! A few weeks back of one the cards popped-up and it arrived last week. A cool card, numbered to only 10 with an extra inscription on the card. Several different inscriptions are floating around so I need to make up my mind if I want to chase those as well. For now, I am very happy with this one, my latest Blyleven card !!
