More Gypsy Queen ! Nolan Ryan !

As most of you are probably aware I am trying to complete both the auto and relic set of 2011 Gypsy Queen !! This is a slow slow process but we are gradually getting there !! Here's my latest addition: Nolan Ryan !!

Breaking a box of Finest !

I recently opened a box of Finest !! I love Finest although I do struggle with the price a bit. Still, one box every few years we can do !! Here's what I got !!

Let's start with a few base cards for my Yankees collection !! Jeter and Tanaka !!

Another Jeter so a Jeter hot box !! A very cool Billy Hamilton, numbered to only 10 !! Noticed one go for over $40 so might get something for it !! Not sure how I will go about but recently opened a COMC mailbox so might add this one to it !

Two more cool insert cards ! Abreu and Cabrera !!

The box also contained a few numbered cards, here's two of them !

Another cool insert Finest Vintage !! Love the Ryan !! A Refractor was in the pack as well !

Let's move to the two "hits" of the box. autos from Bethancourt and Castellanos, both for trade !!

That it for my box of Finest, not great but a decent one ! Yuo guys opening any Finest ?

Trade with Italy !!

Not a lot of people in Europe collect baseball cards but I am happy to know a few. One of these collectors is Calciati Riccardo from Italy, the only Italian I know, at least for now, who collects baseball cards ! Last week I received a big, big package from Italy with some awesome cards. He really went out of his way to make this a great one !! Here's only a few great cards he send me as I can only show a small portion of the loot ! Let's start with Glavine !! If there is a new Glavine in a package the package is already a huge success. In this package there were actually multiple new Glavine cards for my PC !!

More great pitchers were included !! Here's Verlander and the Flying Dutchman, Blyleven !!

Some large (maybe box toppers) were also included. Here's Seaver and Ryan ! Cool looking cards !!

Another interesting card was included. Have a look at this one...I already had a few of this set but this one was new to me !!

Another set I discovered, Upper Deck Yankees Classics...I think I am going to try to complete this set, looks like a cool one !!

Lastly, two more cool cards, Michael Jordan (yes, I had Air Jordan shoes as well when I was young) and a cool Legendary Cuts card !

Trade with the Diamond King !

I am still catching up with all the trades I have done in recent weeks. One of these cool trades was with Kevin at the Diamond King. He contacted me recently as I had some Diamond Kings in my trade bait and things progressed quickly from there. In the end a great package arrived at my doorstep last week. Below some of the cool cards that were included. I am a bit busy at the moment so little comments, just nice cards for you to look at !!

Kevin send me a wide variety of cool cards. Let's start with 2 of my favourite pitchers: Verlander and Glavine !

Sabathia also had a spot in the line-up ! I really like the Topps Gold Label set !

Here are two Yankees from 2 very cool sets, Munson and a Teixeira mini !

Yogi Berra was also in the mix, a really nice card !

To finish off Kevin included a cool Babe Ruth Power Deck CD card. I haven't been able to play it yet but I am really looking forward to it !

All in all, the package included many more great cards. Thanks Kevin for a great trade !!

Trading with Stealing Home

Stealing Home at All Trade Bait, All The Time recently showed off some Gypsy Queen cards, including the CC Sabathia SP I still needed. I contacted Oscar and we quickly agreed on a great trade. Here's what Oscar send me !

First up the card that initiated the trade: CC Sabathia SP. I am close to complete my 2012 Gypsy Queen set and only need a few more so if you have any let me know (see my Want List). In addition, my first Future Stars card. As it's harder to get my hands on retail boxes in Europe so I didn't have any of these inserts yet. 

In addition, Oscar send me a bunch of Yankees cards. Here's a really nice one, 2004 Fleer's Classic Clippings, Jason Giambi !

Furthermore, two really nice UD Icon cards, a set which I didn't have any cards from. Here's Chamberlain and Teixeira.

The package also included a Yankee Stadium Legacy card !! Still only 5,000 or so to go so if you have any spares let me know !!!

Nolan Ryan also showed up, not once but twice !
