Some Dutch Ginter

Staying with the Allen & Ginter theme I recently came across a cool box topper, one of the Dutch team !! Not many baseball cards around with Dutch players, let alone the Dutch team so this was a great card to chase. As nobody is interested in these it seems I get it for only a dollar !! Here it is, the Dutch team after a great win !!

Dutch Bravery !

One of the best Dutch players during the recent World Baseball Classics (WBC) in my view was Andrelton Simmons, player of the Atlanta Braves. Earlier today I remembered that I actually pulled one of his autographs a few months back when opening a pack of Bowman Chrome (Bowman packs I rarely open to be honest).  Here it is, my first and only Simmons auto, one that I will keep for my `Dutch` collection !

I am looking forward seeing him play for the Braves this season !

Schoop, Schoop !!

The Dutch Team (or Kingdom of the Netherlands) again did a great job during the recent World Baseball Classics, reaching the Semi-finals and playing some fun, passionate games. One of the guys on the team, Jonathan Schoop, is one of the new, up and coming Orioles players. Last week I was able to get one of his auto cards, a 2012 Bowman Sterling, my first Schoop auto !!

It's fun to have some cards of the Dutch guys so happy to have this one in my collection. With such a young team I am looking forward to the next WBC !!
