Years ago I pulled my first "button" card, a 2009 Chipper Jones "button" card, one I still own for when a cool trades calls for it. Last year, Panini issues, to my knowledge, the only button card on the Glavine checklist. Of course I obliged and chased it ! Luckily some week ago I was able to get my hands on one and here it is. This first Glavine Button card !!
What do you guys think about "button" cards, you own any ?
I have a couple in my collection. One of McCutchen and the other of Adam LaRoche. If the price is right they make a unique piece, but I don't actively pursue them. Most of the time they carry a premium price in which most circumstances I would rather spend on a nice auto.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card! Congrats on finally tracking it down.
Neat! I need to add a button to my collection. Very cool card.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great card! I too would love to add a button to my collection. All the ones I have seen are beyond my price range but I need to keep my eyes open.
ReplyDeleteThey seem pretty darn cool. Prices a little high for my taste, especially for the Griffeys.
ReplyDeleteHave never come across a Dodger one for my collection but they look great. Congrats
ReplyDeleteWow thats an awesome card!!!
ReplyDeleteButton cards are really cool, I am hoping to add one to my collection eventually.
ReplyDeleteI love me some button card action and I have been trying to procure a Piazza one for 10 years now. No joke. That Glavine is pretty sweet, I must say.
