I have been fond of Booklets and own a handful. Recently I came across another one from the 2007 Triple Threads set, a cool Mets booklet with the grand prize being the fact that Glavine is included !! Here it is, numbered to 18 !
What do you guys think about booklets, love'em or hate'em ?!
love 'em! sweet addition!
ReplyDeleteI'm not huge on booklets, but some are pretty darn cool... like this one for example! I'll be captain obvious and say that it depends on who's on the card. What more could a Mets fan want on one card?!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Darryl Strawberry and Tom Seaver? Piazza?
Like Nathan I'm not huge on them but also admit some of them can be pretty cool looking (like GU/EventUsed I'm not big on but they can look cool). To me the booklets though are starting to cross into the NOT-A-CARD category of memorabilia.
ReplyDeleteI like booklets, they display well. My favorite one I have is my Schmidt auto from five star
ReplyDeleteI prefer my cards 2.5" x 3.5" - I have a few neat cards with game used stuff on the front and back; I think this is how nature intended.
ReplyDeleteThat said, what a nice Mets piece that is.
I like booklets. I don't know if I'll ever own one, but I love the concept. I wish I had a better place to display (if I ever get one), but that will be an acquisition once I get a man cave/card room.
ReplyDeletecool, do not have a booklet yet... be better if it was not the Mets though...
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I've had a couple of booklets but only bought them to resell. I don't know of any D-Backs booklets, but if there is one then I want it.
ReplyDeletenever have owned a booklet but they are great to look at
ReplyDeletenice pick up
I'd be a big fan if I had one!
