I liked last year's Five Star, one of Topps new products. The problem with last year's cards was that there was a lot of "chipping" going on (hope that's a correct verb :-)). This year Topps seems to have learned its lesson and the Five Star cards seem to be much better. I recently picked up a few for my player collections. Clearly, given the price point I won't pick-up any boxes, just chasing the singles here ! Here they are !!
First up, Tom Glavine, numbered to only 25 !!
Secondly, another Glavine, a Silver Signature !
Furthermore, Rizzo was also present, a cool card numbered to only 10 !!
Will try to get some more, still missing some Five Star Kershaw's !
How do you guys like this year's Five Star ??
Great cards! Love that they are all on-card autographs!
ReplyDeleteVery cool Glavine autographs. I love this year's Five Star product... especially their on-card autographs.
ReplyDeleteRizzo was my favorite "Pink Lady"
ReplyDeleteHow do the Silver Signatures cards look in person? I'm considering getting the Goldschmidt, but the pictures/scans never look that great.
ReplyDeleteWow, never expected those Five Star autos to come out any nicer than they did in past years.. sure enough I was wrong. Gorgeous adds of the new HOF'er!
ReplyDeleteLove the autos. The Rizzo Patch is sweet as well.
ReplyDeleteThose autos are gorgeous, congrats!
ReplyDeleteFive Star is for sure 5 Star
ReplyDeleteGreat looking cards
I've watched a few Five Star video breaks. That stuff is so expensive...Congrats.
