More European baseball cards collectors !

Apparently I am not the only one collecting baseball cards in Europe ! I am happy to have discovered that fellow Europeans Tony MC and Martyn have a blog called Cards Beyond Oceans and are based in the UK, not far from Holland (for those of you that have no clue where my tiny little country lies!).

They are organising what seems a fun contest with a great free give-away, a very nice auto/relic Duke Snider card (numbered to #10) !

In addition, he is planning for some additional give-aways so go and check out their blog Card Beyond Oceans here and join the contest !

Thanks for checking out my blog again, really appreciate the visits !

  1. Thanks for the plug! There are actually quite a few UK collectors, most with blogs. Not sure about the rest of europe though.

  2. I remember that contest. That is one sweet DUKE!

  3. God, I remember that contest as well. I actually won a different Snider from them.

  4. Love me some Duke Snider. He was underrated.

  5. Hi -
Thought you might be interested in this message. Or, if you know someone else who's a collector of old baseball cards, please forward this email to them!

I have consigned 4 vintage baseball cards to Julien's Auctions of Beverly Hills - for their sports memorabilia auction. Bidding is now underway online -- but only through this Monday, June 9th at 5 PM California time.

Here is a link to the current, online auction at Julien's:

Lot # 6, on the very first page, is my 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth card.

Lot # 185 is my 1958 Topps Mickey Mantle

Lot # 411 is my 1948 Lucius Appling card

Lot # 419 is my 1969 mint Reggie Jackson rookie card.

Check them out if you have the chance -- please bid and/or send this info around?

    :) LHS
