A package from the Great Orioles !

It has been a little slow with new posts on my blog as I have been away for the weekend with my wife. Returning from our trip I found a great package at my doorstep, packed with cool cards ! The package came from Ryan at the Great Orioles Autograph Project. Ryan still needed a bunch of 2011 Heritage as well as several 2012 Topps Series 1 of which I had plenty still lying around catching dust. I added several Vladdy cards as well.

What I got in return was simply awesome !! A big pile of random Yankees cards and several cards that I needed for a range of sets ! First up, 2 of the Golden Greats that were still on my Want List. Hopefully, I am able to complete the full set before Series 2 comes out !

Another one of the sets I am trying to complete, and one that will probably will take me a few years, is Yankees Stadium Legacy. Ryan helped me out with a few more, so much appreciated !!

I also became a big fan of Allen & Ginter and I am still trying to complete the sets that came out in previous years. Ryan send a big pile of A&G 2010 my way while also adding a few 2008 and 2009 A&G cards !! Here two 2010 rookie cards !

...as well as two non-baseball 2008 Allen & Ginter cards, one of which seems like a fisherman with a Dutch name but no clue who he is !!

Lastly, Nolan Ryan was present as well ! I really like the Legends of the Game inserts although clearly the rainbow Astros uniform on the Topps 60 is the best !

One of the best cards I received was a Tom Glavine card I didn't own yet and had never seen before: MooTown Snackers ! A great addition to my, steadily growing, Tom Glavine collection !

All in all a really great package from Ryan, of which the cards above only represented a fraction of it all !! He took a really big chunk out of my Want List, especially the A&G part. Thanks Ryan for the awesome trade and I am looking forward to a next one !!
